Like everyone says, sizing surely varies.  The US men's size you usually wear plus two equals the US women's size you need is just a place to start.  So, I'm guessing you would initially look for women's shoes/boots in sizes 10-12, but don't be afraid to try on slightly smaller or larger sizes. 

Most salespeople are paid by commission, so they really don't care who buys the shoes.  The key is not to be timid, lurking around trying not to be noticed may seem "creepy" to the sales people.  I know, much easier said than done.  Starting out in thrift stores might be easier, you can try shoes on yourself without salesperson involvement.

Welcome buddy.  What type of boots/heels do you like, that is the question.  In any event, it is better to start off with lower heels to gain proficiency, and more importantly, confidence.  You may also want to visit local thrift shops, you never know what you might find for just a few bucks.  What size do you wear?

I have the same addiction, but more of a problem with my better half, he knows I love boots, but does not know the extent of my collection.  Fortunately, I work for the airlines and am away often so I can enjoy my boots publicly then.

Sorry buddy, don't know how to post a link to Idol.  The fellow auditioned towards the end of the last episode. 

I was watching the last audition episode of American Idol, and was thrilled to say a male performer wearing very cool heels.  It was great to see the judges not make a big deal or call attention to his heels, they just judged the total performance and gave him a yellow ticket to Hollywood.  The man really looked great in heels and handled them like they were Nikes, I hope he will continue to wear his heels on the show and do well!

Listen to Rockpup.  It sure sounds to me like your GF is OK with your fetish already, she is making little jokes and not trying to ignore the whole situation.  I think it is time to have an open discussion about your heels, ask if you can model some for her.  There is no need to secretly try to "test the waters", I think you will find she is intrigued by your love of heels and looking forward to exploring your fetish with you!

I work for AA, and layover in the DFW area quite frequently.  Sometimes I stay at the airport Hyatt, but stay closer to downtown on longer layovers.  I'm always looking to meet up with like minded heel guys, especially to get out and about in heels.  I enjoy wearing high heel boots with levis.

Great work buddy!  You are doing it right by starting off slowly, wear your flats to the food store or mall for some short outings, increasing your time out each time.  It won't be long before you forget about the shoes you are wearing, then you can gradually move on to higher heels.  Try not to concentrate on possible reactions, trust me I know this is much easier said then done. Remember confidence is key, "never let em see you sweat".  Most guys have a secret desire to wear heels, they just don't have your courage!

TBG offers great advice.  We all want to jump into the tallest stilettos possible, immediately if not sooner!  Those boots look great, spend time wearing them and then move on to taller heels.  Stumbling publicly in heels can be a setback for us, confidence is key! 

I'm glad you found us, we are glad to have you here!  Guys look great in heels, in spite of societal rules!  I truly believe most guys have a secret desire !to wear heels, most just don't have the courage to explore their secret desires!  So, give yourself some credit for being courageous, nothing weird about looking great in heels buddy!
