  1. For sure, stilettos are great in the snow!!
  2. All the best for a healthy 2024, with plenty of new heels, and opportunities to wear them
  3. Indeed... Sounds like you have made great strides and get to enjoy wearing your boots without being too self concious. I feel so fortunate to be in a similar mindset, can wear my boots most anywhere. I know I have made great strides when I realize that I have forgotten I'm even wearing them. Nonetheless, your caution is well founded. Many men have tender egos, and their "masculinity" is easily threatened, it is always best to avoid situations or places that might put you at risk. Don't think I would wear my stiletto boots to home depot, but have no problem wearing my 3" block heeled ankle boots.
  4. Good for you buddy, must have felt great. People in NYC are busy getting "where they are going", no time to notice others' footwear. Sounds like your heels were perfectly suited for a long day on rugged city terrain
  5. You look great buddy! The boots fit perfectly and the outfit looks great as well! I'm sure there were some second looks indeed, consider that a big compliment!
  6. So true. Men with nice legs look great in heels, why not show them off! I remember the first time I slipped into my sister's red go go boots as a kid, I loved the way I looked in them. And even today, I think I look pretty good in my stiletto boots with nice fitting levis/jeans. I think the contrast is confident and looks a little powerful. It makes me feel good when I get the rare compliment from a guy asking me if it is hard to wear high heel boots, I always do my best to encourage them to try a pair.
  7. For sure buddy! I agree, that a touch of femininity (nice boots like yours), can actually magnify your confidence and masculinity for sure! Same here buddy... But, so happy to have returned to the boots I was so intrigued by as a kid...
  8. Well, I am glad I watched this video in its entirety. I feel Mark's explanations were valid, and he seemed honestly upset that he may have offended one group or another. Mark is a great example of just what most of us are striving for, just to be a man in heels and some other traditionally feminine gear. Personally, I feel that some of these groups are a bit too sensitive and have unfair expectations about how they should be addressed and treated by society. Please don't misunderstand, I want everyone to be "their happiest self" for sure, in whatever form/identity that may be. But, expecting the rest of the world to understand just what identity they are striving for along with addressing them in a very specific way, is unrealistic and perhaps just a bit self centered. OK, I expect to get some criticism saying things like this, especially being a gay guy... PS: I too, would love to hear Mark's explanation about shedding his clothing.... Not afraid to admit I'm envious though, but he has obviously worked hard to have those nice toned legs, and should absolutely show them off.
  9. Well, I will not blame it on the boots... I was so upset when a heel gave out on my favorite pair of Sam Edelman black knee high stiletto boots. I feel these are quality boots, the issue is that perhaps I need to lose a few pounds or stop abusing them on rough city streets. My suspicions were confirmed when one of the heels broke on my favorite Nine west stiletto ankle boots as well. I was crushed when the cobbler said they could not be repaired. I guess the lesson I have learned is that when I find a pair I really like, buy two pairs! I love many different styles of boots, but am extremely fussy at the same time..... Just because boots are expensive, does not guarantee quality, or a good fit, or comfort for actual walking any distances. On the other hand, it is so frustrating to see a great pair of boots (visually anyway) only to discover they are cheaply manufactured...
  10. You make an excellent point here. You really need to make sure you feet/toes are properly maintained and manicured if you are going to wear open toe footwear such as sandals.... It is amazing how foolish some sales people/departments can be.
  11. That is so frustrating, seeing a great pair of boots styled just the way I like, only to discover they are made of cheap man mad materials...
  12. It's strange, but being from the US, I always asssumed that places like France and England were probably much more open and accepting to guys going against social norms like us. Nonetheless, I rarely get any obvious reaction to my boots while traveling the US as well. But yes, I have encountered some giggling from young girls walking near me. Honestly can't remember the last time I got a negative/disapproving stare from anyone though. For me, I have just made the assumption that everyone else on earth notices/hears footwear the way I do, but have learned that most folks just aren't that interested to notice...
  13. Great booties indeed, hope they have size 10s for you. I love wearing my stiletto booties, they look great and are easy to pack!
  14. I agree, would never even consider wearing these boots. And it is too bad, because they fit his legs nicely. Why would Asos go out of their way to make boots that are really ugly like this
  15. Yeah, ebay has a time limit. This seller used to be reputable, wonder what happened...
  16. I have bought a few pairs, but several years ago.... Both pairs were "returns", so kind of hard to judge, but never had any trouble with the seller. How are you trying to contact him??
  17. Well, I wouldn't say the topic is a waste of time.... But, I hear ya Bubba, for sure! I have often wondered if my love of womens' boots was something I was hardwired with, or something I learned. Wasted too many of my younger years trying to ignore it, punishing myself needlessly. One thing is so true, my desires can not be ignored for sure. I don't really crossdress, although would love to try some tight leggings, but fear my chicken legs won't support that look very well. Love wearing my boots as a guy, in levis, with leather and gloves. My most "disastrous" outing was when I tried to wear my black crotch high stiletto boots out while in Vegas. The heels are just a little too high for me to handle, fumbling, having to stop and rest while outside, I'm sure I looked foolish. Fortunately, I finally reached the age (some years back), where I really don't give a crap about what others might think. All I know is I love wearing my boots, and think I do look good in them. Thanks to all the guys here that helped me along the way. Heels/boots are for everyone..
  18. I think this is great indeed. Helps differentiate the various interests... Can help to dissolve foolish stereotypes as well
  19. For sure, but it is worth reposting. This man looks great, as a guy in heels, hoping men like this can help promote the idea that regular guys look great in heels, and should enjoy wearing them...
  20. Well, I'm sure it is staged, but looks great anyway. Those boots have nice rugged heels that look great and are easy to walk/dance in.
  21. For sure, hope all is well buddy. Don
