  1. San Francisco is a pretty open city at any time of the year especially when you're in the Castro area and areas around there. Also in the Folsom Street area. Looking at Festivals, one of the best is the Folsom Street Festival in late September...if you google "Folsom Street Festival" you will find some great info, dates, etc. david & cathy

  2. Hi Ben,

All depends on what type of holiday you're looking for. If it is a city type vacation, as Admirer says the major cities are very accommodating to style, i.e. London, Berlin etc. In the USA, I wear high heel Boots around Vancouver, San Francisco with no problems...and in Los Angeles along the Promenade in Santa Monica, you fit right in.

Now if you're looking for sun/sea/beach along with heel wearing, we visit Los cabos, mexico every year and i have no problems wearing high heels around....especially if you stay at the "Desires Resort" in Cabo San Lucas. This is an adults only resort and they have a "fetish" oriented nightclub where wearing heels is totally accepted....pretty well anything is! They have a website http://www.desireloscabos.com

    have fun....

  3. Hi Kneehighs, Sorry we have been lost for the past few weeks......our 28 year old son and his fiancee had a wonderful wedding last Saturday so lots of planning and time spent with family/friends. It was picture perfect! We are two very very proud parents! Thank you for posting the update on the hotel bookings so far at the Thistle Euston. As you have indicated Cathy and I are all set up with our room. Lea at the Thistle Euston is tremendous to work with so when y'all are making your bookings just address them to Lea. Wow, only 224 days till the Heelmeet on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008!!! Hope everyone is considering booking their rooms at the hotel now as space will go quickly. It is better to hold something, all they take at this time is a credit card guarantee. Don't want anyone disappointed, especially all of us who look forward to meeting as many members as possible at the next Annual World Heelmeet. Cheers, david & cathy

  4. And another great item are Boot hangers. We have dozens of them for our knee high Boots and they save space as well as maintain shape of the Boots. You'll find websites that sell them on a google search, boot hangers. You see them used a lot for equestrian Boots. david & cathy

  5. We have made eight custom Boot purchases from Jean Gaborit, all terrific experiences. As Dr. Shoe mentions check out the forums on the Jean Gaborit website. Lots of feedback. Also, it does not hurt to write directly to Ian at Jean Gaborit and ask any questions you may have. FYI, we have invited Ian to the 2008 World Heelmeet in London, Feb 16, 2008, so if you are still in decision mode this would be a great opportunity to do a sizing and see the many designs they have. david & cathy

  6. I agree. Most of my Boots are black however I also have many other colours, red, white, brown, blue, gold, silver. The red, white, gold and silver always garner a greater amount of attention when I wear them out and about. Red definitely says, look at me! david

  7. Terrific experience Max and great choice. Know Edmonton well and it is a great city for street heeling especially around the club area and also White Street. Hope you will be able to join us all over in London in February for the Heelmeet? david & cathy
