Toronto, ON, Canada Meet Friday, March 5, 2010 Here is the Update from the last Toronto meet on Nov 2nd, 2009: "A little slower than we had hoped for, however 3 members did get together at the Churchmouse and Firkin Pub on Church street. Joe and iloveboots (David) met up first at the Hilton Garden Inn on Jarvis & Dundas Streets around 7pm and walked up to the Pub (about 10 blocks). Joe was wearing custom made crotch high black leather Boots with 5 inch stiletto heels over tight tan coloured jeans and a black leather jacket. David wore black leather Jean Gaborit thigh high Boots with red leather trim (same as ones worn at 2008 WHM in gallery pics) with 4 inch heels, over black riding jodphur pants and black leather jacket. David & joe met up with VanYYZ (Carl) at the Pub around 8pm. Carl wore black leather Jean Gaborit crotch high western heel Boots with black leather shorts and a long black leather full length coat. We spent an enjoyable evening at the Pub, not leaving until about 11:30pm. One of the servers was a huge fan of our Boots and heels and had us show off our heels. Joe and I did get one great comment from a small group we passed on the way back to the hotel, 2 women and a man, one of the women shouting back at us after passing us, "love your Boots"! There were a few members who were unable to attend due to illness and we hope they are doing much better and can join us next time around!" Currently we have 11 members who have indicated they may be attending the Toronto Meet on Friday, March 5. Details to follow soon. Will be meeting up with a few friends at Neighbours (1509 Broadway & Pike) on Thursday evening, Feb 18. We'll all be in thigh Boots so easy to spot, figure on meeting around 10pm. A few of the members from the group Nasty Habits will be there as well.

The next Canada High Heel Meet is in Montreal, Que, on Thursday, March 4, 2010.

Agenda:

The agenda is fairly loose but we all plan to get together on Thursday afternoon (March 4) for some window shopping along St Jacques, St Hubert, Ste Catherine, St Denis street areas (weather permitting if snowing, the indoor mall on Ste Catherine St); dinner around 8pm (location tba); then spending the evening at Cabaret Mado on Ste Catherine St Est.

I arrive on Wednesday evening from Ottawa and will be staying at the Auberge des Gouverneurs on St Catherine St Est and St Hubert.

I will be posting contact information in a few weeks and finalizing all our plans.

Nov 6, 2009 Montreal Meet Update:

The numbers for the Montreal meet dwindled in the 24 hours leading up to the meet and we ended up with just the two of us, Danielp6406 and myself. W6ish from Ottawa was unable to make it after going through a move, hope you're all settled into your new place now? And Etienne who also was planning to attend was unable to due to illness, hope you're feeling better?

Montreal was awesome! Probably one of my most favourite cities for heeling in. On Thursday night after getting in late, around 10pm from Ottawa, I headed downtown to a club on Ste Catherines that has a nightly drag show (Club Mado). I wore the Little Shoe Box black leather crotch high Boots with the 5 inch stiletto heels over the black jodphur riding pants. Had many wonderful comments on my Boots and look.

On Friday after early morning meetings I headed to one of the shopping streets, St Laurent St and wore the same Boots I wore monday night in Toronto under black leather pants. Spent about 4 hours walking around the St Laurent, Denis St and Ste Catherine St Est area. Also received some very nice comments on my fashion and heels. Most people would not know they were thigh Boots under the pants but they could definitely see the 4 inch heels. I stayed dressed like this and met Danielp6406 at the Carrefour Laval Mall in Laval where I bought a new pair of suede thigh high Boots for Cathy. Danielp6406 was wearing really nice knee high black leather Boots with a 2inch heel under black jeans and a nylon black winter coat. (Daniel, maybe you can describe better than me??) We walked around the Mall and then ate dinner in the new food court. Incredible Boot sightings, nearly all the ladies in the Mall were in high heel Boots and many were in thigh highs. Great show!

After Danielp6406 dropped me off at my hotel in Laval and I couldn't resist and headed back downtown but I first changed into the monday Toronto heel meet outfit with my 4 inch high heel black leather thigh high Boots over the jodphurs. I walked around the St Laurent area for about an hour stopping into a few shoe/Boot shops. In one boutique the two sales ladies were both in thigh Boots and the store was a very trendy boutique carrying lots of thigh Boots. Great atmosphere, all wood floors. As I strolled around the store admiring their beautiful Boots one of the ladies walked over and asked if she could get a really good look at my Boots and outfit. We talked for about 15 minutes on men's fashion and how much she enjoyed seeing a man with some flair, some fashion sense. She loved the outfit and the Boots. Even took a few photos as she wanted to use them for some fashion designing! I then headed back to the drag show club (Club Mado) and spent the rest of the evening there! An absolute incredible time. A table with 5 couples sat down right in front of me, I was on a barstool, legs crossed showing off my Boots of course! Two of the ladies in the group were in thigh Boots as well and we compared Boots and chatted. They were so cool with my look and Boots. Not too mention nearly all the performers also in high heel Boots!

Hopefully next Montreal meet will have many more members join us!

Love to have you join us next meet in Vancouver. We have a "canada" group set up, see our profile and join. That way we can keep you up to date on meets. The hostess at Moxie's was almost tongue tied as she stumbled her way through positive comment after positive comment; "incredible Boots, where did you find them; they look incredible on you; wish more men would take a chance on fashion and express themselves; please turn around and show me the entire outfit" etc. Cheers, David

Joe and iloveboots will be staying at the Toronto City Centre Hilton Garden Inn if there are any members in NW Toronto who would like a ride, we're going to be heading to the pub around 7:30pm.

There are another 4 members who have indicated they may be attending so we're shaping up for a pretty good heel (most members will be in Boots) meet.
