This is not under "For Sale" because they are not for sale. This is a pair of all leather, excellent condition 7" heel knee high boots with 2" platform, US women's size 11. I am giving them away to any woman who wears size 11, or EUR 43, or UK size 9. I will mail to a PO box. No gimmick. I just want them to go to a woman who will appreciate and wear them. I no longer do.
Gals, send me a private message if you really want these and wear this size.
I'll have to charge postage if overseas.

Does anyone know of any on line dating/meeting/contact site in which preference for shoes, high heels, shoe size, or any similar type information is part of the profile for men and women?
-
That is a senerio I only dream of. Great!

I thought the whole idea here was "high heels," not women's shoes. Certainly shoes commonly made for women tend to have more styles with high heels than do men's, but I've got some men's 3" heel cowboy boots that give me the same feeling of walking in high heels that any other 3" heeled shoe does. There are other high heel men's shoes which many of us wear. Now if we're talking only stiletto, then, IMHO, the're women's shoes that guy's are wearing.

I agree that the lable are tacky, and I remove them from my shoes. But I kind of like it when women don't remove them, and I can see exactly what size they are wearing. Sometime you can also tell a shoe size in a photo if they have lef the lable on, as is often the case in fashion photo shoots.

A 4" heel seems to be the ideal for comfort and any sense of wearing a heel. A 3" heel almost seems like a flat to walk in. I can walk smoothly in 5" heels, but they are not comfortable for long periods, and 6" heels are frankly difficult to walk in for any lenght.

Just to add my .02 worth, I hate rubber flip flops, mostly because they don't have any heels. But if you are a foot admirer, they give you a clear view.

Yeh, well it gets worse. I was 5'9 in my youth. At 65 I am 5'7, and that makes it all the worse, because when I eyeball a woman to estimate how tall she is in heels or otherwise, I'm still thinking I'm 5'9". That's why there are so many taller women now it seems. Tex

To the extent that a 4" heel on a size 7 shoe is equal to a 5.5" heel on a size 11 shoe, in terms of the ratio of foot lenghts, women may have a bitch sometimes. But I agree, that a shoe that fits correctly will be comfortable even with a high heel Tex

The higher heel cause smaller steps which is more feminine. Wearing a tight corset will cause your hips to sway, whether you are wearing heels or not.

I know it was quite a feat to shovel snow in 4" heels, but if there was ever a contest, you'd have lots of competition.

These are my other 4" wedge heels, which are very stable to run in because of the ankle support. But they really won't pass as my regular service boots, if you see what I mean. The service boots are women's.
I got the boots from Electrique Boutique, the most reasonably priced shoe store I have ever found. These were $14.99. Still some left. I toned down the pink trim.

I'm glad others think they are as cute as I do.
I do wear them with long jeans which makes them look like normal sports shoes, except that the toes are so petite that it looks like I'm wearing a size 6 shoe.
They, and five other pair exactly like them were on auction on ebay by a lady who said that she liked one pair so much that she bought the entire llot of twelve, and was auctioning the rest. Mine were the only size 9, and although I wear 10, I took a chance and they are a perfect fit. The others were sizes 7 and 8. I bid $1 and won. They are made in China, and were shipped from an APO address is Asia, leading me to believe that the seller is stationed in China and had a chance to buy the whole lot wholesale. The brand is Bee Fly. see:
Also listed on ebay right now for $9.99 (auction ending Jan 2), is an identical pair of sneaker pumps by Tommy Hilfiger. See:

These are my new running shoes. They have a 4" wedge heel. Actually I wear them all the time since they are so comfortable and practical. Since I'm still in the closet publically, I only wear them out at night to walk the dog, but I really enjoy them, especially since I got them on ebay for $1 .

It doesn't seem to me that 3" stiletto heels should be unstable to walk in. That's almost a flat. There must have been something wrong with the boot - either fit, or even a loose heel. If a woman can't walk smoothly in 3" heels. then there's no hope for humankind as we know it.

I finally figured out how to include a picture with my post. All I had to do was read the FAQ. DUH! If anyone is interested, see me in my track shoes under "runing in high heels" for the guys. Also, while I'm at it, I'd like to see a gal post the same question for the gals. I also just learned you can post as a guest, which I did not intend to do, so I am reposting this as myself. Tex

I have searched the topics and forums and have not seen this discussed.
Can you or do you run in high heels? I'm not talking stilettos, which is probably a quick invitation to the emergency room, but in 3" or 4" or higher heels of any style.
I have a pair of 4" wedge sneaker boots the same as pictured in my icon, (only I've painted over the pink accents with black heel coating, and changed the laces from pink to black). In these heels I can run a mile in 6.5 minutes.
My form is not much to look at, (it looks more like a lope than a running stride, but I can easily take 5' stides and run almost as easily as in flat shoes. Going down hill is a bit harder, so I try to find even surface.
Interestingly, the footprint of the high heel sneaker is almost the same as the foot print of my bare foot - same lenght, but slightly more narrow heel.
Anyway, does anyone else have experience or tales to tell about running.
I know about the Washington DC Halloween drag queen high heel race, and I know some of those guys can do a couple of hundred yards in stilettos, and I'm also wondering if anyone runs in real heels, rather than sneaker style heels?

dr1819, thanks for the comments. I probably got off topic listing all of my other interests, but yes, in my community, even heels. Maybe if I just moved here from Europe or the East Coast, I might be accepted ( ie. not be beaten half to death) wearing some sort of high heels, but to come out of the closet now, after 15 years, would be unthinkable. At least what I do is not illegal, just unconventional, and I can live with that.

I would see myself as a compete weirdo, ostracized from my community, job, church, and most of my family, if I showed up wearing high heels, much less in a corset, latex suit, gas mask, and all of the other things I enjoy behind closed doors, or in private with like-minded friends. I’ve lived one of the most conservative lives possible, as a diplomat, cop, and community leader. I’ve never been a hypocrite, and am openly socially liberal, ie, tolerant of other person’s peculiar behavior, but I just can’t see myself ever coming out. I’m too deviant from the norm. I do wear women’s shoes almost daily (service boots, cowboy boots, Nike and NB shoes, and service oxfords). But I like my high heels high, and there is no way I could ever be accepted wearing them, even on Halloween. So I see myself coming out of the closet, but I am very grateful for a group like this where I can come out, even if I am just an icon to you. Jim p.s. How does one post an image along with your message? I don't write HTML

Are you happy with the size of your foot and shoe size? Would you like a smaller foot to fit women's high heels? Would you like a larger foot to look more manly? Do you wish you could have some other size foot or wear a different shoe size? I wear a woman's size 10 1/2 C, which is impossible to find. So I have to wear an 11B which is pretty common. I'm pretty satisfied myself. What's your opinion

Are you happy with your shoe and foot size. Do you wish your feet were smaller (dainty), or larger, so you could wear higher heels? Are you embarrased with large feet, or proud of them? Are wide feet more of a problem than long feet? Are attitueds about women's shoes size changing along with the average size of women's feet?

Something like 50 years ago there was a program on TV called "You Asked For It" sponsoned by Jiffy Peanut Butter. It would feature short segments about something a viewed aksed to see. One viewer said they had heard of a woman who ice skated on ballet point. So they featured it. This woman (about 1955) had ballet ice skates made for her. They were like ankle lenght ballet boots, but tratidional white like skates, with small ice skate blades attached to the toes. She was shown skating in them. I think that's how I became facinated in ballet boots before I even knew they existed. I have roller bladed with 4" wedge shoes inside traditional roller blade boots. I wasn't very good, but then the fit wasn't as good as actual wheels attached to the shoes. Latextex

The boots go to a lady in Ottawa, size 11, who will give them a new home, and wear them proudly. Thanks for the private messages. Tex
