  1. Personally, I don't let bad weather stop me. I can be found wearing stiletto heels in any weather. I actually find that the thin heel can be dug in for far more traction than any treaded boot. I've had people ask me personally how I manage them in such harsh weather. They have seen me walk in them in the worst snowstorms.

  2. A good 2 cents, Larry. Where does one draw the line. It has often been stated in fashion that dress the body you have, not the body you want.

We look our best when we wear clothes that fit. This doesn't however mean that we have to restrict ourselves to buying from the men's department. You may really love that top from the women's department, that may have allowances for an ample bosom. If you get that women's top it's going to need alteration. As guys who wish to wear clothing originally designed for women, find yourself a good tailor. A good tailor will be able to make that garment custom fitted for you.

So when does alternative fashion become crossdressing? I think is pretty simple actually. It becomes crossdressing when one is emulating the female form. It really can't get any more basic than that. Modifying your body or assisting it to fill out a garment designed for women is crossdressing because one is creating an image of the female form.

If you are crossdressing by the standards I have just stated, you are going to have a long uphill battle for acceptance. We need to be real here. Denial is irrelevant.

  3. The sound can be useful too. Today i stopped at a minute market for a snack. When i approached the checkout, the girl had her back turned talking to the associate behind her, and didn't know i was there. Now i could have done the usual things, wait, clear my throat, say hello, but i didn't. Instead i just raised my foot a bit and clumped my boot heel down on the tile floor. She immediately spun around and got to work. ;)

Love this one. Come to think of it, I do this.

  4. Back again, today with my blue and black color block skirt, black shirt, peach necktie, black hosiery and my much loved Mojo Moxie / Torrid lace up pumps.  I really liked this one and found it extremely comfortable throughout the day working.

I like the concept of your outfit Lime15. The colors of the shirt and tie aren't doing it for me with the blue of the skirt. Maybe blue shirt and black tie. Try to keep with a close hue and saturation on the blue. Tie could be any neural or complimentary (yellow if you dare) color, not just black.

  5. After a looooong while without buying anything, yesterday I found these in a size UK9 / 43 while shopping with my wife.

They were 7£ (about 10 USD) so they came home with me :)

If you are interested, they still have a few pairs in the same New Look shop in Exford Street (the one with Starbucks inside), fourth floor at the very bottom where all the sale items are (sorry for the details, but I know some of us don't like to browse around too much).

Nice find! Nice looking shoe at a nice price.
