Thanks Bubba, that means a lot, even though I'm well past the point of no return. The only regret that I have is that I hadn't started wearing heel sooner.

Beautiful shoes Mausi! Nice legs too! I think this is the first time I've seen then without hose, very nice. I think I like your legs better in hose though simply because you have such good tastes in hosiery.

I think Bubba has posted so much that he has given the server a brain cramp. He's even beyond debbie's 6 inch oxfords.

Because you guys so knidly asked, here I am in my somethin' else boots. One goofy pose, as I was too lazy to take several pix, then pick the best one.

It's been a long day in the courtroom, and this was how I was dressed. Looks like case#1 is going to go into its second day.

Great shot Jeff, even with the ugly black square.

Not in this lifetime if what Bubba said about such shoes are true! Even I have limits, and those things exceeds them by a light year!
Even if 5's started feeling a little flat and the vamps were cut lower?

Pretty nice boots Jeff, and as you may know I plan on getting a pair myself for fall.
-
I could see you springing those on your coworkers Jeff.

Well, it appears my heel wearing is having an effect on my female coworkers at my day job. Keep in mind I don't wear any of my high heels to my day job. Many of my female coworkers are aware of my thing for heels and that I wear them out and about outside of work, and insist that I at least bring in the pairs that I buy for their inspection. And it seems that they love the boots that I've been wearing, especially those knee-high embroidered boots, although I haven't worn them out and about yet. One of those coworkers really surprised me today by coming into work in a pair of ankle boots with pointy toes and approximatly a 2.5 inch narrow cuban heel. While this may not sound like much they were absolutely adorable on her size 5 feet. This was the first time I have ever seen her wear anything other than sneakers to work. They made the most delightful sound on the linolium floor of the cafeteria at breaktime this morning. She was absolutely glowing in her enjoyment of wearing them, and I could tell by the look in her eye she was thanking me for rekindling her interest in wearing heels. As you have probably guessed, I have no problem with my coworkers knowing that I wear heels, it's just that I don't wear anything higher than 2 inches there or to church for that matter. To me church just isn't the place to be the center of attention. Anywhere else though, and all bets are off. I'll wear them anywhere.

Try the trade name Vibram, this soling material and is available in sheets. My local cobbler uses this for top lift replacement.

Like a few others here, I'm mostly interested in shoes that blur gender lines without crossing over into looking like too much of a novelty. In other words, I never want to look like my shoes are wearing me.
So personally, I'm less interested in stillettos, pumps, etc. (shoes that might make people say, "Golly, those shoes are a bit much" even when women are wearing them) and more interested in things you see most women wearing day-to-day.
Welcome adorn!
Wow, if I wore on my feet what women are wearing here, I'd be stuck in sneakers, flip-flops or Uggs (for colder weather).
I to gravitate towards mainstream shoe designs, but usually with a pointed toe and stiletto heel. As the rest of my clothing is distictly male at best I can only blur the gender lines. Trust me, it takes the whole package to cross the gender line. Shoes by themselves just don't seem to do it.

Regarding that woman and her caustic comment towards you, who is she to determine what is normal and what isn't? Sounds like just another narrow mind unwilling to expand, to boraden her horizons, someone safe and sound, wrapped the blanket of her own misconceptions and beliefs. Those are the minds that can never be changed.
Jeff, you'll be glad to know that she meant it, but was in no way caustic. The funny thing is it had nothing to do with my shoes. Some people have a way of telling you whats on there mind without the intention of offending you.

Yep, your right! There are fugly!

Well Daz, I'd start by telling her there is a good reason why you walked so well in her shoes. Then let her think about that one for a moment. Then introduce her to your shoe collection. She might be like a kid in a candy store.

Welcome Foot_Fetish! Hope you enjoy our growing community of heel lovers.

JeffB, Sound like it was an interesting experience. You say it like it is. Peoples reactions to a guy in heels is minimal. Thank you for an example of some of the things society considers normal, really shows how messed our society is. Once a woman I know accused me of being "not normal", to which I replied, thank you, that the best compliment I have recieved all day. I've even got a T-shirt that says "Normal People Bore Me!" To anybody out there that hasn't worn heels in public yet, but desires to do so. Be prepared for lack of response. That really seems to be the norm.

Welcome abaord, jessica01! Can't say I've seen those plastic chinese slippers, but they sound horrid. As for flip-flop, I've seen too many women wearing them when they just shouldn't. Example: There is a teller at my bank who is very attractive and dresses well except for cheap rubber flip-flops. If only she was able to see herself in a pair of heels, or even in a real low heeled shoe.

I am not standing on the ball of my foot, but farther forward on the joints of my toes before the ball of my foot.
Sad to say but 5" probably isn't for you, texasbumpkin. The ball of you foot MUST bear your weight with your heel or SERIOUS foot problems will results, that are potentially crippling.
I would hate to see anyone permanently destroy their mobility for the sake of high heels.

Which came first, Catwoman or the catsuit?

Very nice Amy. I don't usually like platforms, but I do find a low platform very agreeable.
-
How about hideous, Jeff. If I saw a woman wearing those I'd head for the hills.

Hi blackslide, Does the plum pair also have that "way cool" marblized finish? That gal at the checkout counter sounded pretty cool. I'll probably give the black ones a trial run tommorrow night at the movie theatre.

JeffB, Malls always seem to have their share of people watchers largely found in the common seating areas of the malls. Guaranteed, somebody will notice.

Steel-toed, pointy, wing-tipped high heeled pumps? Now that is way cool. Has your Nephew been tempted to imitate his Uncle's wearing of heels and tried said Italian pair on yet?
Cheers---
Dawn HH
I doubt he could find any that fit with his feet. They're huge! My nephew towers over me. While both my nephews know I have a thing for heels, I doubt they know that I wear them myself. Honestly, I have'nt seen them since I started wearing them in public.
New pair of boots starts me serious street heeling.

I can attest to that Dawn, and I will always encourage all people man or woman about the joy of wearing heels should they be so inclined to ask me.
