As a husband and a father, having raised a son and two daughters, I’ve been there, done that.  While teaching our son how to be a man, the upbringing of the girls rested mainly with my wife.  My wife was, to me, the most feminine female person ever to walk the earth.  Mannerisms, attitude, beauty creams, clothing, colors, fashions and accessories, jewelry, etc.  the whole nine yards.  A true “Southern Belle.  She knew it all.  And, she thoroughly taught our girls everything very well.  Shoes were a fashion accessory or be coordinated with the handbag and dress. The dresses must be appropriate for the function/occasion for which it is worn.  There were even rules about heel heights and which height was to be worn according to the occasion, time of day, etc. Complicated.  One thing she never could understand about me was my love of woman’s shoes and heels.  Her puzzlement was why I wanted to wear heels when, as a man,I didn’t have to?  I guess that one of the main reasons we were so happy together is that after a couple of years we stopped trying to figure each other out and were content to let us just be ourselves.  

As I look back over the years to my youth, I don’t remember being as deadly certain that my opinions were so absolutely correct to a point where I wouldn’t even entertain a thought that I could be wrong or that there might be more more than one solution or way to solve a problem.  I do know for a fact that with young people these days, anyone voicing an alternative or opposing view will likely get them shot .  It’s like there is no room for discussion.

Great looking shoes.  They would go with anything.  No problem wearing them out in public.  If your wife likes them and finds them comfortable,  then by all means , get a pair fo yourself and enjoy wearing them.

As of this date, I have not heard of victims of this type of “discrimination” shouting loudly for reparations, so perhaps your analysis is just in time for victims to stir the pot and surface the problem in time to reap millions in payback payments?  You should definitely demand at least 10%  for bringing such an outrageous type of discrimination to the public’s attention?

Looks a little on the skimpy side for winter in North Dakota.  Or at least as I remember December being when visiting relatives in Grand Forks one Christmas about 40 years ago.

I try very hard to avoid material such as this because authors usually present views that are self-serving or have selfish motives.  Besides, regardless of what anyone thinks or says, it wouldn’t make any difference.  I just want to enjoy wearing my heels and try not to think that hard about it.  

I love wearing my wedge sandals in season.  While I usually wear a women’s size 10.5. In pumps and boots, I find that I can getaway with wearing a size 9 sandals, especially if they have adjustable heel straps.

While most of the members here are willing to discuss and relate their experiences and adventures wearing heels, I would think that delving into other “kinks” we might have, I doubt that most of us would be willing to reveal that much about ourselves here.    To me, it “smacks” of more information than I would like to put on the internet.
