Hey, chill out about Chinese manufactured goods. The way that things are going, it won’t be long before everything manufactured on the planet will be “ made in China.”

You are absolutely correct. Rather than “banned” I should have said chose to quit. Two long term, very popular members, responsible for a large amount of the growth over the years, chose to quit posting because their particular styles of contributions weren’t allowed because they didn’t adhere to the website guidelines. What can I say?

I don’t understand why they would jealous. Normal reaction to seeing a man wearing stylish high heels would be, in my opinion, “there is something psychologically amiss with that guy!”

I don't read it that way at all.
And the ground rules of the site are clear and well known.
Especially since you’ve already banned several longtime members for doing the same thing.

Sorry I missed that part @Bubba136 And very sorry you lost her. You were a lucky man.
Thanks! You have no idea just how fortunate I am.

I'm surprised she didn't ask you first about your boots!
I really don’t think she noticed them.

@Bubba136, after that description, I am jealous. While my wife was a heel wearer, I doubt that would have been the case if not for my desire to see her in them. She did dress nicely, but not with the dedication to fashion you described for your wife. She can no longer wear a heel of any type thanks to bad feet and spinal stenosis, and since she no longer works and isn't out and about in the world too often, her fashion sense has waned considerably. I find it amazing that she was ok with you wearing heels. Not trying to be nosy, but you used the past tense several times when talking about your wife. Hope all is ok.
Our story is well documented in the early pages in the archives of this site. Long story, short. I met my wife on our first day in college. I confessed my heeling habit as soon as it became apparent that we were going to more than just a college romance and that she deserved to know what she was getting. After a couple of months reflecting upon the issue, she decided that she could live with it. We both were 19 years old at that time and got married the following July, at the end of our Freshman year. She passed away a couple of years ago leaving a giant empty space in my (our) lives.

I my time wearing heels, I have obtained my heels in every conceivable way. On line, mail order from catalogs, buying shoes and trying them on in store, etc. Perhaps the most frustrating way of getting new heels was whenever my wife would buy them for me. Her taste in footwear was very different than mine. And, while she liked the most feminine, girly styles, my taste runs more to the plain, unadorned styles . No bows, open toes or heels straps, etc. Just plain pumps, boots and sandals, mostly. She earned her black belt in shopping early on in our marriage. And, occasionally on one of these (what seemed to me) perpetual shopping excursions, she would see a pair of heels that she thought I would like, and buy them for me. While I would return most of her selections, every now and then she would bring home a pair that I really liked. I still have a couple of these pairs in the closet.
