After some months away and now on a better email link I have returned. After admitting heeling (and casual cross dressing) to my best friends I now heel in work. I don't do skirts there yet but had worn fem tops. I'm rarely out of heels around St Helens these days - even in straight bars. I'm not sure how much time I'll spend on this site but I'll hopefully stick around longer than I did last year. I'll add boots pic when i remember what to do. Even got pics on facebook now.

Why not tell us a little about you're wearing heels at the place where you work. What kind of reaction to you get from the people you work with and what kind of work do you do that you can wear heels while working? I'm sure that I'm not the only member interested in hearing your story.

If you want to know more please ask as I'm sure there will be something I've missed.

Liked the story and pics site Roy, very good to hear your experiences were mainly positive too and that work has accepted your alternative attire. Thanks for sharing them with us.

I've added some close up pictures of my boots on my web page now, as you can't see too much details in the other pictures.

I also realised I hadn't added anything about heels-v-my kids so there's a small bit at the bottom of the page too.

Just waiting for delivery in 4.5" stilettos and so not gonna change out of them

So when do I heel?

AT HOME: most of the time, except then my kids are around - ok so will wear 3" wedge boots under long jeans. Will usually answer door in heels.

GOING OUT: depends on confidence. nearly always in fem footwear now although often just 2-3" school style shoes.

Skirts, dresses -n- more?

AT HOME: I'm often in skirts or fem jeans. my tops are usually t-shirts as haven't found many fem tops i'm comfy in yet - beer belly doesn't help. padded bra does help to balance figure a bit.

I will sometimes make full effort with wig and a bit of make up even when my girl friends are around - have never really done boy friends.

GOING OUT: very rare as most my friends live too far away to have anyone to go out with. maybe one day. I will sometimes wear fem tops at work.

St Helens, Merseyside - Guy in heels friendly? - possibly. A small town and a now popular but "The Counting House" and guys in heels have so much respect from the staff - male & female. I started off in long black jeans and black boots. Female staff gave me support for skinny jeans and tan boots - so not hidden. Went for it and male staff even complimented me. Me Happy :o

:mecry:Saturday night 3

Going into town after a win by the local rugby team was probably not my best idea. Walking to the cash machine I got unwanted attention from a group of drunken peeps, sitting at the door of my safe pub. I just carried on and even walked back past them to the safety of my office which I remembered the key for. I short rest and change from slim 3.5" tan boots to block 3.0" black - I had no flats.

A slight detour and I made it to the pub via the side door - I left the same way a bottle of wine later, unfortunately the verbals continued.

Verbally bruised but I went back to the office for wedge 4.0" black boots for the bus trip home. Had few minutes waiting and a girl saw me but life was back to normal as quiet again.

Glad my next night out will be with company in the easier going Blackpool.

Hello and welcome back. Thanks for telling us more about yourself. St Helens, would that be in Jersey? If so there are some good shoe shops there.

St Helens is in Merseyside on the Manchester side of Liverpool, a few too many miles from Jersey - unfortunately

There seem to be a few St Helens in England. There is also 1 on the Isle of White.

I've some across the Isle of White one in far too many searches. I'm updated my web page to show Merseyside, hopefully that will help a bi in future.

Still trying to find more local heelers. At least I should have an easier time in Blackpool in a couple of weeks.

I know of at least 1 member on here that comes from Merseyside, also like to crossdress as well.

I can't believe it's nearly 2 months since I last posted here - my web page hasn't done much better. After "Saturday 3 - post 18" I lost a lot of confidence to heel in public - not really surprising. But after about a month I started wearing boots in my regular pub again and about a week ago they were back on show = 4" heel calf boots over jeans, then a change later that evening (my office is a minutes away) into 4" knee high boots. These boots stayed on as I walked across town on a Monday night 11pm to get a taxi. No problems this time. Heels are also back on getting the bus to work - but this is harder this year as there are many more school kids who can be hard work - safe so far. Going to pick my kids up on Friday night I was in 3" block heels ankle boots with square toe, under very long trousers. St Helens town centre, train and stations and Huyton (past drug smoking school kids) and I had no problems. In kids' street two girls aged about 8 kept shouting "girly shoes" so I did the best thing and just ignored them. I was in trainers when I took my kids home and the same girls were there but they didn't say anything. KIDS UPDATE: I've been wearing chunky heels, or my tan boots when my kids have been visiting for the past couple of months now. FRIDAY: After my son (nearly 9) had gone to bed I pub my calf boots on over skinny jeans to see how my daughter (nearly 13) would behave. She liked the boots so then came out the 4.5" knee high boots and again no problems at all. SATURDAY: Start of a new day with me in knee high boots for the start. Both kids totally fine. My daughter (size 6) then asked if she could try my boots on (size 9) - how cool. I gave her my size 8 calf boots which she liked until I got out 5" platform goth calf boots, which she wanted to go home in - I'm not sure my ex wife knows about my fem side yet. Boots on hold til she's tried them a few more times. SKIRT: I had to show my pics of me in skirt then after she said one of her teachers dressed fem in public. She liked the skirt but did find it funny. HEELS: I can now wear heels at home with them around but I musn't go out in them, as "people might think I'm gay". Protection from my daughter can't be bad.

Nearly forgot - how could I: Last Monday I met an online girl friend - yes I was the one in heels - 3.5" ankle boots. We spent an hour window shopping. We finally found a shoe shop with some decent boots. Off came the ankle boots and on went the calf boots. In line of sight of counter staff. I've worn them a few times in my local pub and at work but I still prefer my knee high boots. It was nice having company and support trying heels on in shops. It does make it a lot easier.

WA1orheelGuy: Here in the USA it's not a good idea to reveal one's counter social behavior to one's under aged children during their court ordered custody visitation time, when divorced. Not all divorces around here are friendly and partners are constantly looking for material to use against their former spouses. I am sure your girl will be excited at your manner of dress and about your clothing. And, once your ex-wife hears about it....are you confident that she wouldn't use it against you to terminate your limited custody rights? Some things are better left "undiscovered" until they can be revealed at more appropriate times. But, this is just my opinion and what do I know of such tings.

Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
