Replacement Of Full Sole?

Guest

Recommended Posts

I recently discovered the sole of one of my favourites disintegrating! Somehow I have got some chemical on it but what is strange it is only one and not both as to when, well that's a puzzle. I'd like to know if it is possible (at a sensible price) to replace the whole sole? post-2779-0-42014400-1374009091_thumb.jppost-2779-0-82362200-1374009092_thumb.jppost-2779-0-98068700-1374009093_thumb.jppost-2779-0-07161200-1374009095_thumb.jp The sole compound has "dried" becoming brittle and crumbling. Thanks in advance. Al

this is nothing to do with chemicals its to do with age, the design is an old one & rubber soles perish with age, much like car tires, they go hard brittle & eventually break up. YES they can be repaired similar to the shoes in the left of this picture. post-2356-0-50593600-1374677541_thumb.jp

Repair Reuse Recycle. Cobbler it.
