Recommended Posts

Hi ive got some miss selfridge shoes with bright gold soles I was trying to give them a revamp but i cant find the gold that the originals have on them Ive tried a couple of so called gold sprays but none are as vibrant as the original anyone have any ideas most come up dull and muddy looking not like on the lid. is there a special undercoat to use or do they use a special paint

Leather or synthetic soles? Leather is very porous and will drink up the paint. You will have to paint and sand, paint and sand. until the leather stops absorbing the paint. Synthetic soles not so much.
