Curt
I bought an awesome pair of 70s knee high chucky boots. They are womens 8.5, but I take a 10. I can fit in them no problem, but it is very tight at the instep and bunion area. Can a cobbler stretch them enough so there is no pain walking in them? They are so coooool, and ill never find another pair like them in a size 10. Clarissa.
Dr. Shoe
Widthwise they'll stretch quite a lot and as you can already get into them you should be satisfied. However, if you were to stretch boots lengthwise, you will only get about 1/3 of a size. Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects. Curt
Thanks for your input, Dr. Shoe. Length is not the problem, it is too narrow in the instep area. I think taking them to the cobbler is the best way to go. I want to wear them because they look so cool!
