  1. There is another sale at http://shoefreaks.ca. I'd love to have some suggestions, maybe have the forum pick out something for me to buy so I can take some pictures in them Any help would be appreciated.
  2. A couple of years ago I was invited to a party held by a friend of mine at her house. Of the approximately 20 guests I knew about 5. Due to some reasons I arrived as the last guest. When I entered the house I noticed a pair of black leather boots leaning against the wall. They had stilettoheels that was at least 14 cm high. Directly I tried to guess wich of the guests that might be the owner of those sexy boots, none of the female guests had any heels over 3cm in height, so I found no obvious candidate. During the evening I passed the boots and could see that whoever owned them had small feet since the bootshafts stated that they were a size EUR 36. That made my guesses a little more easy since there were three women who had remarkable smaller feet than the other women. All three did have flats as indoor shoes. After a couple of hours it was time to head out to a bar, so taxis was called to all guests. Number of people decreased as the taxis left, but the boots were still standing without wearer. When the second last taxi came the hostess announced that she and two other would take the last taxi. That meant that I and a woman much younger than me was going to take that taxi. She kicked off her ballerinas and pulled on those sexy boots. Directly when she started to walk to the taxi I could tell that she was not an experienced heelwearer. During the ride she said to me that she was a little worried about how she would manage her boots. I told her to give her feet as much rest as possible, then she would be fine. When we arrived to the bar we got separated shortly. During the evening/night I saw her teetering/wobblying around quite a lot in despite very high stilettoheeled boots. As the hours went, her teetering became slower and slower until she actually started to limp. Suddenly I saw her sit at the bar, taking some drinks, resting her tired feet. I approached her and ask if she was fine, and she said she was fine. I also asked how her feet were since she was worried in the taxi. She said that her feet was not that bad. I left her at the bar in order to go to the ladies room. When i was on my way back to the bar I saw her slowly slide down from the barstool, and as soon as her feet started to take up her weight, I saw in her face that she were in pain. She slowly started to walk towards the exit, she were barely able to keep balance without support. She somehow managed to exit the bar and make it halfway to the taxis, then she had to sit down an rest. I then approached her again and asked I we could share a taxi, we were going in the same direction, so she accepted. Then she said that se did not know how she would be able to walk to the taxi in her boots since her ankles were too tired to balance her 15cm heels. I said that I would support her. With some effort I got her into a taxi and during the ride she told me that she have never been wearing heels this high before and that she only did it to look good. I helped her to her flat and I also helped her take her killer boots off.
  3. Hello, I have just found this site, and I love it already! I have always loved high heels, I would wear them every day if I could, from boots to pumps, low chunky to high stiletto, and everything in between. I want it to be less taboo for men, and now that I see how many men and women love heels, I feel a little better about myself. Thanks everybody, and get in touch if you can, Brad.
  4. Hi all I hope some of you can share some of your experience with me. Which are more painful to wear; seven inch pointy stilettos with no platform or ballet heels? Of course with training they can both be tolerable just want people's initial thoughts when they first started wearing them. Many thanks in advance, Wambound37
  5. I had quite a recent outing in my favourite heels on my bike that I would like to share and also ask for any other people's similar experiences. I decided to take a ride on my bike, about 3 miles both ways at night, wearing my 6-inch heeled stiletto pumps with a pair of long black dressy trousers. The trousers managed to reach down concealing about half of the massive heel. Of course, it was still obvious that I was wearing heels, you could still see from the side the steep arch of my heel and half of the heel itself as well as the gorgeous semi-pointy toed front part of the shoe. But that 'discreet' look was much more obvious when I was cycling of course, because of my bent legs on my bike, the pumps were almost entirely visible. The idea was that I would be cycling for the most part but also doing some walking, click-clacking in my stilettos when in less busy areas. Using the bike to move about quickly (but also making my heels much more obvious) and walk in other areas, with my trousers partly concealing my heels (there was nothing I could do with the sound, at ten-ish at night, walking on the pavement in heels still makes a tremendously loud and distinctive noise), many times outside housing blocks! I looked pretty much like the lady in the picture attached, except my trousers reached noticeably lower than hers. (By the way, I have HUGE respect for girls who actually cycle in their high heels. I have not seen any in person but know a few of them sometimes do. Cycling does not have to be in sports gear!) The trousers also managed to conceal - almost entirely when standing up and partly when cycling - the chains and padlocks that I had locked my heels on my feet with. Although hesitating at first, I decided to set off for this 3-mile ride having left the keys to these padlocks at home. I stopped a few times to walk in my heels, reeling my bike when I was in quieter areas. About half-way through my cycle ride, when I was as far from home as I would go, I sat down on a park bench for 10 minutes to relax in the still of the night. Playfully moving my pantyhose-clad foot about, left and right, as I was sitting cross-legged, but not being able to play shoe dangle! I realised just how strict these chains were at keeping my pumps practically stuck to my soles and my feet, I could not even separate them from the soles of my feet for more than half a centimeter. The chain-padlock ensemble was not just for the looks, it was remarkably effective at making sure that, even if I was tempted to take my heels off and cycle barefoot, it would be completely impossible to do so. I had an awesome time during this ride. Cycling in heels, although it took a bit of getting used to, proved perfectly fine and safe as you are only pedalling with the front part of the shoe which is flat. Although, feeling a bit anxious, worried and self-conscious at first - I felt wonderful throughout the ride, thinking I was riding in such stylish and elegant shoes that were truly stuck to my feet until I got back home. I was noticed by a man and, later, by a woman walking her dog as I was walking with the bike on my side and also as I was cycling along, by a couple of cars that happened to be coming from behind me. Though I was cycling on the pavement and was no hazard of them hurting me, both cars slowed down considerably when going past me! No comments or wolf-whistling though! Anybody had any similar experiences cycling in their heels? What kind of heels were they? Were you noticed a lot? What sort of places did you cycle to and what kind of comments (if any) did you receive?

  8. Hey all! Nice to join in on this group! To intro myself a bit, I'm currently a student at uni with an undying love for heels (Marchesa, Sophia Webster, and Jimmy Choo are my favorites). I didn't know there was an online forum but I love that I've discovered this site! Everyone here seems so nice and the shoes are all amazing I also have a bit of a favor to request of everyone: I'm working on a fashion tech project with my uni, and we need to collect data and responses from serious high heel lovers (like this crowd :P). It's a little lengthy, but the survey form is here: http://goo.gl/forms/YHYRwdZDEJexPqQU2 It's completely anonymous and will help me ENORMOUSLY in the next few weeks. I'll also be looking to do live chats with ppl so pls comment/message me if you'd be down for that! They are interview type session that last 10-15 mins tops and, again, will really help the project move forward. Also, please do keep the survey/responses anonymous or the uni will kill me Thanks! Namankeets
  9. Hello, a super race in heels
  10. Hello everyone, I feel very privileged to be accepted for this community and forum. I am a fashion blogger, focusing on designer high heels, celebrity styles and looks, and my own fashion experiences. I buy high heels, and bags to review, then once my review is complete, they are available to be brought (I put them on ebay or can be brought privately). I really like to review as many different designers, styles and colours as possible. Happy New Year
  11. Hi, are Fredericks of Hollywood still selling shoes? I can't find a website for them on line. I am after a pair of these, in black, size US10/UK8, new or used. Anyone know of any good auction sites for the US I can try apart from EBay? Thanks in in advance for your help!
  12. Hey everyone. I'm new to this site and thought I would introduce myself and say hi. I'm a male in my mid thirties and have always been fascinated with heels since I can remember. I love the look and power they convey. I love shopping for them and gifting pairs in relationships. I was a bit embarrassed about this fetish till my late 20's. I then found some groups online and saw it wasn't so uncommon. I then decided I would only be in relationships with women that shared my passion and understood. I then started putting it out there up front and to my surprise every woman I have told has loved it. They love getting shoes as gifts, and wearing them out and in the bedroom. It has built special bonds and especially in my current relationship. I have bought her over 50 pairs in the last three years and our collection is growing all the time. anyways, I just thought I'd say hey to all you heel lovers out there and hope to make some new friends.
  13. After a couple of years away, I wanted to get back to sharing my outing adventures and experiences. I have been pretty busy as my life has seen some major changes. Ironically, I get out more than ever and really try to pull off some different looks. However, I do not always have the time to report, take and edit photos, etc. Recently, I have decided to put myself out there more using social media. I am planning on starting a blog and have started a Twitter. I remember that a few years back, some of the members were encouraging my to write a book, which I am seriously considering. At the very least, I would love to be back here as a regular contributor. A lot has changed and I am looking forward to checking in and sharing the things that I do. Since this forum is dedicated to high heel fashion, I plan on keeping my postings Germain to to heel wearing - although heels form the foundation of my style, it does go beyond than. However, if I didn't love wearing high heels, I don't think I would have ever tried a skirt, dress, or any other traditionally female fashion item. For me, it always starts and end with the heels! New Adventure #1 - Sunday July 21, 2013 A quick outing today. However, most of my outings tend to be quick - about an hour or so. The heat was pretty intense today and I needed to do some work, so I went to Parana Bread to bask in the air conditioning, drink some strong iced tea, and jump onto the free Internet. Instead of work, I wound up setting up my Twitter and Blogger account. My outfit: Banana Republic nylon tank with a blue and white pattern, LOFT orange maxi skirt, brown Nine West "Smilelydays" stiletto sandals (about 4 inches), yellow J.Crew cross-body bag, Banana Republic silver choker, yellow Cache bracelet, gold Ann Taylor cuff with blue bead. My outing was peaceful. I have long since stopped noticing people reacting in a negative way to my dress unless it is obvious or done in a confrontational way. Odd looks, snickers from teen-aged girls, whispering between people all just seem to come with doing anything out of the ordinary. However, I do usually pick up on positive interactions and have become more approachable in recent months. The best thing that happened today was an elderly woman (the place I went today seems to attract an older crowd) told me that she thought it was "wonderful" that I do what I do. I remember that it wasn't long ago that I used to force myself to go to places where I set down and lingered. Now, these are often the moments I treasure the most. I bought the shoes on Macy's clearance this summer, though I had coveted them since first seeing them when they were released in the early spring. I have them in both brown and black. My original thought was to wear them with skinny jeans or crops, I just couldn't resist wearing them with this maxi. They are actually quite comfortable, though the skirt draws most of the attention (Its big and orange after all.) It is wonderful to be posting an outing again! I look froward to hearing from old friends and making a lot of new ones!
